We are currently seeking a heavy duty mechanic for a small and growing team. The successful candidate will have a versatile background working on a variety of construction, compact, aerial, small and large heavy equipment. This opportunity is a good fit for a person who can apply well-honed troubleshooting, repair, and diagnostic skills, and share their knowledge as a mentor with 2 other junior technicians.
The position is full-time, with overtime encouraged. The schedule is a typical day shift and offers the unique opportunity for a long weekend every 2 weeks, alternating between Mon-Fri and either Mon-Thur or Tues-Fri each week. Compensation: Compensation will depend on relevant experience and fit for the opportunity, up to $55-60 per hour for red seal certified heavy equipment technicians. The position also includes extended benefits, a health spending account, and an RRSP match program.
Requirements:

• 5 plus years' heavy equipment mechanic experience
• Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician preferred
• Residing in or able to relocate to Squamish, Whistler, or Pemberton area ASAP
• Friendly positive personality and effective at customer relations
• Fluent in verbal and written English
• Legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada
