Overtime applicable after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week.Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment - Finishing Dozer Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating dozers to finish grade surfaces for construction and other projects. This role requires expertise, precision, and a strong focus on safety.Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate dozers to perform finishing grading tasks, ensuring surfaces meet project specifications.
  • Shape and grade earth to the desired contour and elevation, maintaining precision in all operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the dozer to ensure optimal performance.
  • Interpret and work from construction plans and blueprints to achieve accurate grading results.
  • Collaborate effectively with site supervisors and team members to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
  • Adhere strictly to safety regulations and protocols, maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or project issues to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment - Finishing Dozer Operator, with a strong track record of successful projects.
  • Certification or training in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of finishing grading techniques and dozer operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in executing grading tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to handle the demands of operating heavy equipment for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as required.
