Job Description

Straightline Heavy Equipment and Auto Ltd is looking for BOTH a Permanent Full-Time Field and Shop Technician for our new High River location. We offer competitive pay for our region and offer a small-town family-run business vibe.

Requirements:

- Must be able to pass random D&A site tests when required

- Clean drivers abstract

- Must be willing to travel, do shift work, work in shops when required

- Good personality, safe working, hard working and organized as you may be the face of the company on different job sites

-Off road equipment / on road experience

- Must have own tools

- Priority given to candidates with Red Seal, CVIP Technician license, welding, fabricating, diesel tuning/delete experience

Duties:

- (For Field position) Operate shop Service Truck: Serving our numerous clients fleets running when needed

- Provide professional, efficient, cost effective repairs

- Perform maintenance and safety inspections

- Perform preventative maintenance

- Work safe, stay organized and clean

- Be the face of the company when on job sites and dealing with all clients

The home base shop is mainly on-highway orientated offering CVIPs, repairs and tuning of diesel trucks. On the field side of things, we do a little bit of everything, equipment, piling gear, trucks, mobile tuning and more. Work shift is typically Mon-Fri 7:30am-5:00pm with ample overtime available. Located just North of High River.
