Job Description
D7 Mechanical LTD. is seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Duty Mechanic with a strong
background in Sandvik underground battery electric vehicles (BEVs)
to join our maintenance team at a remote mine site. This position plays a critical role in supporting safe and efficient underground operations by ensuring the peak performance of advanced BEV equipment.Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs on Sandvik underground BEV fleet Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydralic systems in high-voltage battery-powered mobile equipment Conduct inspections, record maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standard Collaborate with OEM reps and mine operations to minimize downtime Adhere to all mine site safety protocols and environmental standards
Qualifications:
Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal preferred) Minimum 3 years of underground mining experience Demonstrated experience with Sandvik BEV equipment is MANDATORY Valid Class 5 driver's license * Ability to work in a remote, rotation-based environment (eg., 14/14)
