Alberco Construction is hiring a
Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to take lead role of our small 3 person shop
. Alberco Construction is based out of St. Albert, Alberta with jobsites located in the Edmonton area and central Alberta.General Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and servicing of construction equipment and vehicles such as trucks, skid steers, telehandlers, cranes, generators, power tools.
- Working with apprentice mechanics in a small shop environment
- Traveling to jobsites to do onsite maintenance of equipment.
- Maintenance tracking and coordination utilizing in house software.
General Requirements:
-
Registered Heavy Duty Mechanic.- Both on-road & off-road equipment experience an asset
- Valid class 5 license & clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle to go to and from work
- Ability to work as a team and communicate with coworkers
- Willingness to work overtime when required
