SMS Equipment is growing! We are looking for

Heavy Equipment Technicians / Heavy Duty Mechanics with Journeyperson certification

to join our Saskatoon branch. In this role, you'll take on challenging repairs, overhauls, and new builds on industry-leading heavy equipment--all while working with a team that puts safety first.

Your Role

Perform assemblies, preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on heavy-duty equipment. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized or other testing equipment. Make recommendations for repairs and suggest improvements. Interpret work orders and technical manuals. Work in shop and field environments, including adverse weather and confined spaces. Lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety.

What You Bring

Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification (equivalent education/experience may be considered). Strong commitment to safety. Experience in heavy equipment repair/maintenance. Solid written and verbal communication skills Interprovincial Red Seal certification is considered an asset. Experience with Komatsu equipment is considered an asset.
