Heavy-Duty Mechanic

to join our team.

Responsibilities:



Diagnose, maintain, and repair mobile equipment including articulating trucks, graders, dozers, excavators, scrapers, loaders, and other heavy equipment. Maintenance and repairs may include engines, transmissions, cooling systems, air systems, fuel and exhaust systems, clutch and differentials, brakes and tires, hydraulic and electrical systems, and lubrication systems.

Qualifications:



Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journey persons Heavy Duty Mechanic or Heavy-Duty Technician Qualification.

Valid driver's license.

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Ability to work out in the construction field for extended hours in all-weather elements.

Previous construction experience is an asset.

Class 5 Licence (preferred) Journeyman (required) Trade Certificate (required)
