To meet the demand of our growing customer base - we are looking for a Mobile Heavy-duty Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the field troubleshooting and repairing heavy-duty trucks equipped with diesel engines and automatic and manual transmissions. This position offers a service truck that the employee controls and operates while on shift.

Position Requirements:

Valid Class 5 Driver's License with proof of drivers abstract Minimum two years of related experience Cummins, CAT and MX, Volvo, Detroit, and Allison training will be considered an asset Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, physical, criminal record check and Drug and Alcohol testing prior to hiring and at random throughout employment Class 1,3 and Q endorsement licenses are considered an asset journeyman certificate is required Ability to multi-task Must have own tools First Aid is considered an asset Ability to understand and effectively use computer equipment - including computers for diagnostics Ability to work independently and as a member of the ZAG family.

Responsibilities:

Inspect, troubleshoot and perform maintenance and repairs Ensure customer units are performing in correct operation and that all requests/ concerns of the customers are satisfied. Accurately communicate repair diagnosis. Answer and respond to all customer calls while on shift (on-call while on shift) Ensure your punch time is accurate on the work order Create and complete detailed work orders Treat all company/customers and fellow employees with the most respect and professionalism. Adhere to the company's safety policies, FLRA's, regulations and compliances. Maintain Service truck in good working operations to ZAG's culture.

Schedule: Shifts are open to availability

7 and 7 (10-hour days) 14 and 14 (10-hour days) Monday to Friday (10-hour days)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$65.00 per hour
