CJ Equipment Sales and Service is currently seeking a qualified

Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician / Lead Hand

to join our team. This is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated and experienced technician to lead a team and operate our fully equipped field service truck.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to a team of Heavy Equipment Technicians Operate field service trucks safely and effectively in various site conditions Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of heavy equipment with minimal downtime Quickly identify and resolve mechanical and technical problems Collaborate with site supervisors to schedule and prioritize service work Maintain thorough and accurate service and repair documentation Uphold and enforce company safety standards and protocols at all times

Qualifications & Requirements:

Certified Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal - Off-Road) Minimum of 5 years' experience working with brands such as CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, and Hitachi At least 5 years of experience in mining or heavy civil construction environments Proven leadership ability with experience managing or mentoring other technicians Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills Able to work independently and lead by example in demanding field conditions Physically fit, dependable, and highly motivated Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
Work Location: In person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
