About the Role

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Heavy-Duty Cleaners to join our facilities team. This position is responsible for deep cleaning, floor care, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the building using industrial-grade equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform heavy-duty cleaning of floors including scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and polishing Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as auto-scrubbers, burnishers, carpet extractors, wet/dry vacuums, and pressure washers Deep clean washrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, and high-traffic areas Clean walls, windows, vents, ceilings, and other large surfaces Handle garbage, recycling, and bulky waste removal Perform carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and spot treatment Maintain and track cleaning supplies and equipment Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols Respond to urgent cleaning needs, spills, and environmental hazards

Qualifications

Previous experience in heavy-duty or industrial cleaning (preferred) Ability to operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper safety procedures Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Indoor and outdoor work depending on facility needs
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
