JOB OVERVIEW:

You will be responsible for performing heavy-duty maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The Project Worker will use heavy machinery in order to successfully strip and wax floors.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clean and care for buildings and facilities ensuring that are maintained in a safe and healthy manner Must be able to utilize heavy machinery to diligently wax and strip floors Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of chemical usage Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies in a safe and orderly manner in order to ensure the safety of all the public Secure storage areas Ensure cleaning materials/supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner Report or perform equipment repairs and report stock shortages Report damage and acts of vandalism Perform other duties as required per business needs

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to use auto scrubbers, burnishers, carpet cleaning equipment, & tucker pole Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System Ability to read & understand labels & instructions

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous related experience considered an asset Valid driver's license Acceptable security and criminal record check
