Heavy Duty Housekeeping
Job Overview:
As a Heavy Duty Cleaner, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for consistently maintaining the cleanliness of all interior and exterior areas of the property to ensure owner and guest satisfaction.
Shift Times: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM
Location: Mississauga, ON
Your Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Cleans and services restrooms
\xc2\xb7 Sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors and stairways
\xc2\xb7 Gathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials by hand or with the use of powered equipment
\xc2\xb7 Observes appearances and conditions of premises and equipment; reports needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring outside vendor services
\xc2\xb7 Dusts such items as blinds, furniture, file cabinets, door, frames, railing picture frames and windowsills using treated dust mittens, cloths, or hand-cleaning items
\xc2\xb7 Polishes furniture, metal work, and chrome using appropriate cleaning and polishing compounds 2
\xc2\xb7 Maintains an inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies
\xc2\xb7 Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, mirror, and fixtures using both step and extension ladders
\xc2\xb7 Cleans grounds and parking lots of litter, glass, or other debris
\xc2\xb7 Loads and unloads supplies, and moves heavy furniture and equipment using dollies, handcarts, or power equipment
\xc2\xb7 Replaces light bulbs and fuses
\xc2\xb7 May perform ground maintenance including removal of snow from front entrances, salting front entrances
\xc2\xb7 Assists in the moving of garbage bins when needed
\xc2\xb7 Maintains and cleans compactor room
\xc2\xb7 Performs related work as assigned in relation to the needs of the building Functions and duties are subject to change upon Management discretion
Skills & Qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 Have knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the janitorial service
\xc2\xb7 Have knowledge of the proper use of chemicals, fertilizers, and pesticides
\xc2\xb7 Have the ability to follow instructions
\xc2\xb7 Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning compounds and solutions
\xc2\xb7 Have knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules and regulations
\xc2\xb7 Have knowledge of building and property security procedures
\xc2\xb7 Have the ability to explain instructions and guidelines to others effectively
\xc2\xb7 Have the ability to prioritize the work of others
