Position Overview

We're expanding our team and looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a

Ventilation & Heat Pump Cleaning Technician

.
This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in the HVAC trade or an apprentice looking to gain hands-on field experience.

No prior HVAC experience is required; we're willing to train the right person who brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.

What You'll Do

Travel to residential and light commercial locations to perform cleaning and maintenance on:

Mini-split heat pumps (indoor and outdoor units) HRVs (Heat Recovery Ventilators) Dryer venting systems Bathroom fan venting Use specialized tools and equipment to clean and maintain system performance Record service details, inspection notes, and photos through mobile apps or forms Communicate professionally with customers about services performed and system care Maintain company-issued tools, vehicle, and uniform in good condition Follow all safety and quality protocols

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required Interest in pursuing a career in the

HVAC or mechanical trades

Valid Nova Scotia driver's licence (required) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Physically capable of performing cleaning and maintenance work (lifting, ladders, etc.) Excellent communication and professional customer service skills Experience in HVAC, trades, or maintenance is an asset, but

not required

Work Location

Primarily on the road throughout central and northern Nova Scotia Reporting to:

475 MacElmon Road, Unit 1, Debert, NS

Schedule

Monday to Friday, daytime hours Occasional flexibility based on customer scheduling needs
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
