Healthcare Cleaning Attendant (Environmental Services Worker)

to join the team at the Queens North Community Health Centre in Minto.

As a Healthcare Cleaning Attendant (Environmental Services Worker), you would be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe health care environment. Specific duties include:

Cleaning patient rooms and designated areas including floor surfaces, fixtures, furniture, equipment, and washrooms Disinfecting and cleaning rooms of discharged patients, including making beds Ordering, distributing, replenishing and stocking supplies and linens Washing, disinfecting, dry and wet mopping floors, and cleaning carpets Stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing floors Disposing of garbage, recyclables, bio-medical, and toxic waste Collecting soiled linens and folding and distributing clean linens

Who you are

You possess a high school diploma, or a minimum of two years of directly related work experience. You have written and spoken competence in English.
