Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityThe Scheduling Resource Center and Nursing Resource Team Manager is responsible for the planning and coordination of services and daily operations of people-centered programs within and external to Nova Scotia Health. This position reports to the Director, VG Site Lead. Essential components of this position include a high degree of exercise in decision-making, creativity, interpersonal skills, professional development, communication, relationship-building, change management, and resource management, so as to provide effective leadership for continuous quality improvements in the nursing resource team, staff scheduling and employee & patient safety.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Baccalaureate degree from a health discipline
  • Master\'s degree preferred or equivalent experience however acquired
  • Registered with the relevant health discipline college/association
  • Minimum of five years of relevant clinical experience
  • Previous leadership/management experience an asset
  • Demonstrates high degrees of independent decision-making, creativity, self-direction, motivation, change management knowledge, and team building/leadership skills
  • Proven communication and time management skills
  • Exhibits creative problem-solving ability and willingness to consider uncharted or novel ideas related to trends in health care
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines and committees to achieve excellence in patient care and ensuring healthy patient and family centered, interdisciplinary team relationships
  • Demonstrated fiscal management.
  • Must have a high degree of expertise in interpersonal skills, professional development, and informational roles to perform a wide variety of technical, human, conceptual, leadership and financial management functions and behaviors.
  • Facilitation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a constant changing environment that requires adaptability and flexibility
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
