What You'll Do
As the Health Services Manager, you'll provide strong clinical and operational leadership to ensure residents receive exceptional, client-centered care. You'll:
Lead and promote a Client-Directed philosophy, ensuring every decision puts residents first
Oversee the electronic client documentation system and ensure quality standards are met
Build trusted partnerships with residents and families through open communication
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
Lead, mentor, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care and service
Collaborate on assessments, care planning, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives
Manage human resources activities, policy implementation, and operational efficiency
Step in to support clinical staff as needed to maintain seamless care delivery
What You Bring
A clinical background with relevant education and credentials (e.g., Nursing, Allied Health, or another regulated healthcare discipline)
Active registration and good standing with the appropriate Nova Scotia regulatory body
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Proven ability to lead with empathy, integrity, and accountability
Strong understanding of supervision, healthcare operations, and best practices in care delivery
Knowledge of applicable regulations, collective agreements, and sector standards
A collaborative, innovative mindset and passion for continuous improvement
