As the HSSE Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of the Health and Safety program, in addition the Security and Environmental policies.

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing implementation of all Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental programs and all the respective processes for an manufacturing environment
Health and Safety program
Responsible for First Aid, WHMIS, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods Programs
Responsible for Emergency Management Program, including conducting required drills
Maintain compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation and applicable standards
Act as Management representative for OHS Management System (OHSMS), and conduct annual reviews
Act as Employer representative to Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC)
Chair quarterly ISO Management Reviews in conjunction with Quality
Prepare the OHSMS to meet OHSMS audit standards as required (ISO 14001, 45001, etc.)
Maintain OHS Documented Information, Policies, Plans, Objectives & Targets
Train & support supervisors in order for them to carry out their OHS responsibilities
Responsible for incident investigations and filing required reports with OHS authorities
Lead or participate in Job Hazard Assessments, as requested
Conduct Supplier/Contractor HSE audits
Security Program (after completing your first year at Cellula)
Responsible for security program as Company Security Officer (CSO)
Develop and implement corporate security policies, protocols, and procedure
Assess company security needs and update program as needed
Assess, prioritize & manage company risk factors
Conduct personnel and contract security screenings
Environmental Program
Develop and implement corporate environmental policies, protocols, and procedures
Required Skills & Experience
Formal education in OHS or a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a professional OHS role
Previous experience in a manufacturing work environment : 1-5 years
Strong knowledge of general industry and/or manufacturing OHS standards and management system and the ability to provide detailed regulatory interpretation of provincial and federal OHS regulations
Previous experience working as a security manager, officer, or other security-related leadership role
Previous experience in supervisory capacity: minimum 5 years
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
Previous experience with an ERP system
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience applying the Hierarchy of Control to manage risk
CRSP and/or CSP certification
Ability to perform under stressful conditions
Ability to apply ISO Management System standards within the context of small companies
Previous experience working in the marine industry
Experience working with hydrogen and oxygen
