Position Overview:

The ideal candidate should possess 3-4 years of hands-on experience in health and safety within the civil construction industry. This position requires a proactive, organized, energetic, and personable individual who is committed to promoting a culture of safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety programs in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Provide ongoing safety training and awareness programs for all employees, emphasizing the importance of safe work practices.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, updates in safety regulations, and best practices to continuously improve the company\'s safety standards.

• 3-4 years of experience in health and safety, preferably in the civil construction industry.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, codes, and standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Energetic and personable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Vancouver\'s construction landscape is advantageous.
