Greystone is currently seeking a

Health & Safety Officer

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing all aspects of Greystone's Health and Safety program across various site activities, in alignment with the

Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations, COR, OSHA

, and Greystone's internal policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Foster a culture focused on prevention and leading safety indicator activities. Educate employees and management on best practices in occupational health and safety. Organize, plan, and schedule mandatory training courses. Implement and maintain policies and procedures related to health and safety. Ensure compliance with Greystone's standards and all relevant legislation. Communicate with supervisors regarding non-compliance with safety policies. Conduct incident investigations and ensure implementation of corrective actions. Maintain accurate documentation, track safety KPIs, and analyze relevant data. Prepare safety statistics and key performance reports. Coordinate the activities of the Joint Health and Safety Committees (JHSCs). Monitor and update training records and ensure training requirements are met. Manage and maintain all health and safety programs.

Qualifications & Skills

Post-secondary education (minimum 2-year diploma or degree) in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline is an asset. 5+ years of experience in occupational health and safety roles across a variety of industries. Completion of

New Brunswick Construction Safety Association's COR Training

. Possession of

United States OSHA Certifications

. Strong ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment. In-depth knowledge of Canadian and U.S. health and safety regulations. Bilingual in

English and French

is preferred.

Dual Citizenship

(Canada/U.S.) is considered an asset.

Compensation

Salary will be based on experience.
