Robert Excavating is a small / medium sized excavation company committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency. We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator / Dispatcher to oversee our safety program and assist with dispatch and administrative tasks within our shop team.
Key Responsibilities:
Health & Safety Oversight:
Manage and enhance our health and safety program, ensuring compliance with Ontario Construction Regulations and legislation.
Safety Training
: Conduct safety training sessions for workers as required.
Documentation:
Utilize and maintain safety documentation programs, with a preference for experience with Corfix.
Dispatch & Administration:
Assist with dispatch and administrative tasks within the shop team.
Problem Resolution:
Identify and address safety-related issues, communicating resolutions effectively
Qualifications:
Experience in the construction safety industry.
Familiarity with the COR safety program.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email communication.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to identify and prioritize tasks.
Comfortable identifying problems and communicating resolutions.
Bilingualism is preferred.
