  • Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma
  • Certificate in Medical Terminology (or tested with a pass mark of 75% or greater)
  • Demonstrated computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Typing speed of 45 wpm
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate with professional and medical staff
  • Ability to use good judgement
  • Good interpersonal and organization skills and strong team orientation
  • Demonstrated regular, punctual attendance
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient safety
  • Functional level in English (oral and written)
Assets:
  • Functional level in French (oral)
