Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of care, including seniors and those with disabilities. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients in various settings such as home care, assisted living, and nursing homes.

Duties

• Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring clients can safely navigate their environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe living space for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client status to appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, particularly in hospice care, senior care, or home care settings.
• Knowledge of patient care techniques and medication administration is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required at the time of hire; training may be provided.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.98-$20.55 per hour
