Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityThe OSI Clinic provides specialized mental health assessment and treatment to clients and their families referred by Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and the Department of National Defense (DND), who are experiencing work-related psychological stress and trauma (e.g. Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, and other anxiety disorders; Depression; Chronic Pain, etc.). The services of the OSI Clinic are provided by an interdisciplinary team consisting of a psychiatrist, occupational therapist, psychologists, nurse clinicians and a social worker. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the social worker delivers mental health treatment services to Veterans and their families. The OSI Health Care Social Worker will be required to maintain OSI-specific work load measurement outcome monitoring and data collection (ex. RAI); provide education to various OSI stakeholders; maintain contact with referring VAC case managers, RCMP, and DND in the development of the treatment plans and referrals; utilize OSI supported telehealth services, mental health and other distance technologies for the provision of services in outlying communities; work with the Canadian network of OSI clinics, and follow the leadership of the Operational Stress Injury National Network; design and provide program evaluation and satisfaction surveys within the OSI clinic; contribute to research as part of the national OSI clinic network.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:
