Jocelyn House Hospice

is a 4-bed residential hospice that provides quality end of life care for the terminally ill in our community. Since 1985, Jocelyn House has supported residents and their loved ones in a warm, welcoming and home-like environment.

Jocelyn House Hospice offers the opportunity to provide personalized, compassionate care and support for patients and family members while encouraging residents to live fully until they die.

Our hospice is located in Old St. Vital on the banks of the Seine River. More information available at jocelynhouse.ca.

Jocelyn House Hospice has immediate openings for Hospice Care Worker (Health Care Aide) casual positions.

Mornings (830-1300), evenings (1630-2100), weekdays/weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:



Health Care Aide Certificate Two years health care aide experience required; long term care and/or palliative care experience an asset. Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a health care team Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to establish priorities Knowledge and ability to cook simple meals and snacks
