Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Duties

Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to nursing staff. Participate in training sessions and team meetings to improve skills and knowledge in patient care.

Requirements

MUST SPEAK VIETNAMESE!

Previous experience in health care settings such as hospice care, senior care, or home care is preferred. Knowledge of patient care practices, including medication administration and meal preparation. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and assisting with mobility. A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent training is an asset but not mandatory; willingness to undergo training is essential.

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per year
