Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide exceptional support and care to our residents. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, senior care, or home care environments and possess a genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. Prior experience in nursing homes, hospice care, or working with people with disabilities is highly valued. Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide patient care including medication administration and monitoring vital signs Support residents with meal preparation and feeding as needed Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, especially those with dementia or in hospice care Assist with transfers and heavy lifting to ensure safety for both residents and staff Document care provided accurately and report any concerns to supervising staff Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings preferred Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, hospice care, and working with people with disabilities is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with transfers Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities Certification or training in medication administration is a plus but not mandatory Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Compassionate attitude focused on providing respectful and dignified care to residents
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.81-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
