Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide exceptional support and care to our clients in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, home care, and hospice environments. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure the comfort and safety of those under their care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care such as dementia or hospice support.

Duties

Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment Help clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Document care provided accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care

Skills

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred Strong understanding of senior care, dementia care, hospice care, and working with people with disabilities Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards patients of all ages Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively while maintaining proper body mechanics Knowledge of medication administration protocols and basic nursing procedures Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members Ability to handle cleaning tasks efficiently to maintain hygienic living spaces Flexibility to adapt to different care needs and work environments

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 40 per week
