As a Health Care Aide, you will be an important member of a multidisciplinary health care team, demonstrating genuine interest and respect for the clients. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in LTC. You will be a key part of the multidisciplinary care team proving personal care and support to clients in the continuing care settings. Your primary duties will be delivering health care procedures and assisting clients with ADLs as determined in collaboration with the client, their family and members of the health care team as details in the established health care plan. Under special circumstances you may be called upon to perform assigned Restricted Activities under supervision of a regulated health professional therefore you will be required to participate in and provide documentation of relevant in-service training and education on an ongoing basis. Please note: the successful candidate requires upmost flexibility as this is a shift work position and scheduling may require day, evening and night shift work every day of the week, including weekends.
