Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to provide exceptional in-home care to a client who has Parkinson. This role involves assisting him with daily activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing a strong focus on patient-centered service. Candidates should be committed to maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality while delivering high-quality care in accordance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Duties

Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status, including vital signs and overall condition Provide medication administration as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation Support patient with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care Assist with meal preparation and feeding to meet nutritional needs Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Document patient care activities accurately Communicate effectively with family and supervisor regarding patient progress and concerns Support patients with disabilities or developmental disabilities through personalized caregiving approaches

Skills

Experience working in home care environments Ability to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate senior care Alzheimer's/dementia/memory care preferred Familiarity with medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Experience working with people with disabilities Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and attention to detail Ability to work independently while following healthcare plans and protocols
