Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Duties

As a Health Care Aide, your responsibilities will include:

Providing personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Supporting patients with mobility and transferring needs, including heavy lifting when necessary Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition for clients Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring health conditions Offering companionship and emotional support to clients, particularly those with dementia or disabilities Performing light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment Documenting patient care activities and reporting any changes in health status to nursing staff Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care

Experience

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or senior care is preferred Familiarity with hospice care practices and working with individuals with disabilities Knowledge of caregiving techniques, including dementia care strategies Ability to perform basic nursing tasks under supervision Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and their families
