We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide high-quality support and care to our residents in a compassionate environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings, and possess a genuine desire to improve the well-being of seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role involves assisting with daily activities, medication administration, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all clients.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide patient care tailored to individual needs, including dementia and hospice care when required
Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed
Administer medications following prescribed schedules and protocols
Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic environment
Assist with transfers and heavy lifting to ensure safety for residents and staff
Monitor residents' health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals
Support residents with working through disabilities or mobility challenges in a respectful manner
Document care provided accurately and maintain confidentiality at all times
Skills
Experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, and working with people with disabilities
Strong caregiving skills with a focus on senior care and patient comfort
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with transfers
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare team members
Compassionate attitude with patience and empathy for those in need of assistance
Ability to follow detailed care plans and medication protocols
Basic cleaning skills to ensure a hygienic living environment
