The Opportunity

We're looking for

one part time Caregiver

to join our GHC family in Okotoks. If you have a heart for caregiving and experience in personal care and memory care, this role could be your perfect fit.

Schedule is Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays/Saturdays

11:00am - 3:00 pm

Responsibilities

Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Providing memory care support Outings to activities (exercise, volunteering etc.) Support around the home Engage in conversation and activities throughout the day Offering companionship Preparing meals and snacks Light housekeeping

What We're Looking For

To join the GHC team, you must:

Be respectful, reliable, and experienced in caregiving. Understand and adhere to all GHC safety protocols and procedures. Build trust and rapport with client and family Maintain diligent reporting to GHC Management and family.

Requirements

Certification as a Health Care Aide in Alberta. Registration on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory. Current Police Clearance with a Vulnerable Sector Check (within three months of application). Valid First Aid and CPR certification. Driver's license and access to a vehicle with ability to transport clients A compassionate approach and commitment to care.

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
