What We're Looking For
We are seeking Health Care Aides who are actively registered with the Alberta HCA Directory and bring both skill and heart to the work they do.
Minimum Requirements
Alberta
Health Care Aide Certificate
or equivalent education
Active registration
with the Provincial HCA Directory
Minimum
1 year of experience
supporting seniors (facility or home care)
Valid Criminal Record Check
(within the last 6 months)
CPR (HCP)
certification
Valid Alberta driver's licence & vehicle (asset)
As part of our interdisciplinary care team, you will:
Provide compassionate, person-centered support within your HCA scope
Assist clients in both home care and facility settings
Support clients with personal care, mobility, transfers, and exercises
Assist with meals and nutrition, including feeding and portering
Provide medication assistance as appropriate
Maintain accurate, timely communication and documentation
Use professional judgement and best practices to ensure safety and quality
Build trusting, meaningful relationships with clients and their families
