What You'll Do:

As an HCA with Better Way Home Care, you will provide essential, high-quality care that allows our clients to remain safe and comfortable in their own homes. Specifically, this role requires commitment to

night shifts

and includes the necessary

availability for holiday coverage

.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility. Performing light housekeeping tasks and preparing meals as needed. Providing companionship and engaging in supportive, empathetic communication. Monitoring and reporting changes in the client's health status to the nursing supervisor. Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment throughout the night.

What You'll Bring:

Health Care Aide (HCA) Certification

- Registered with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory

Strong, verifiable experience working night shifts

in a home care setting is a significant asset.

A commitment to guaranteed availability for statutory holidays

. Availability for shifts of varying lengths 2-12 hours. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Commercial insurance coverage A compassionate, patient, and reliable work ethic.
