Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility. Collaborate with healthcare team to develop personalized care plans. Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents. Provide emotional support and companionship. Assist elders at meal time as needed. Document resident progress and report any concerns promptly. Uphold the highest standards of dignity and respect for everyone that lives and works at Eden Gardens.

Qualifications

MUST hold a valid Health Care Aide registration number in British Columbia Knowledge of dementia care best practices. Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks including heavy lifting. Flexibility to adapt to changing resident needs.

Pay: $29.83 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week
