Serving Hands is a locally owned, family-run in-home care agency, proudly supporting seniors since 2016. We help older adults remain independent in their homes with compassionate, dependable care that puts dignity and respect first.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a

reliable and experienced Health Care Aide (HCA)

for a

weekly Friday morning shift

with a senior client in

Leduc

. This consistent 3-hour visit focuses on

showering, personal care, light meal preparation, and companionship walks

in a relaxed, familiar home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist client with showering and personal hygiene Prepare a light meal or snack as part of the morning routine Provide respectful companionship, including walks (weather permitting) Support light housekeeping or tidying tasks as needed Observe and report any changes in condition Offer dependable, professional, and compassionate care

Requirements:

Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (from accredited program) Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License and reliable transportation Fluent in English with clear verbal communication Current CPR & First Aid certification Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check Able to work independently and follow established care plans Kind, respectful, and comfortable supporting seniors one-on-one
