At EMC Therapy, we're a small, passionate team that provides in person rehab therapy services and home healthcare visits. Our team is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in our community through providing personalized health services. We are currently expanding our home health services, and we are seeking a Home Health Care Aide to join our Home Health Team. What You'll Do:

Visit patients in their homes, offering vital care and support each shift Safely administer medications, including oral forms, creams, and patches Conduct tailored assessments such as blood glucose and blood pressure checks Respond to urgent situations with empathy and professionalism, following established protocols Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, to support the frail elderly in the community Communicate significant changes in patients' conditions to their healthcare team Document observations and care provided, ensuring accurate records of each patient's journey Engage with patients to enhance their care and wellbeing, contributing to improved outcomes No personal care or assistance with daily activities is required

What We're Looking For:

Health Care Assistant (HCA) or equivalent training A valid Class 5 or 7 Driver's Licence A reliable vehicle A willingness to complete a reference check Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations

Work Schedule:

0700-1100 or 0800-1200, Monday to Friday Minimum of two shifts required; commitment to a minimum of 20 hours/week may be eligible for extended health benefits

Compensation:

Hourly wage: $22 - $28 $0.66/km reimbursement for work-related travel
