Position Overview:

As the Health Care Aide Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of our healthcare assistant team, ensuring high standards of patient care and support. You will play a key role in mentoring staff, coordinating patient care, and fostering a positive environment for both patients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support healthcare assistants in their daily tasks. Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans. Monitor and evaluate resident care to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Provide training and development opportunities for healthcare assistants. Assist in scheduling and staffing to maintain optimal care levels. Address patient and family concerns with empathy and professionalism. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

Certification as a Health Care Aide in British Columbia (Registration with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry) Valid Food Safety certificate. Valid CPR or First Aid certificate. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Previous experience in long-term care or a related field preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
