Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, and home care settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities.

Duties

Provide personal care to patients, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing Support meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for residents Administer medication as prescribed and monitor patient health Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients through regular cleaning tasks Engage with patients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being Document patient progress and report any changes in condition to nursing staff Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for residents

Requirements

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care is preferred Familiarity with dementia care and hospice care practices is a plus Strong caregiving skills with the ability to work compassionately with diverse populations Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist patients with mobility needs Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic
