Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Filipino Female Health Care Aide to provide essential support to a elderly male client with Dementia living in his own home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for senior. This role involves assisting the client with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and fostering a supportive environment, interacting and engaging him in meaningful activities, light meal prep and housekeeping. Shift is Mon/Wed/Fri 9:00-2:30 pm

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing for client Maintain cleanliness in living areas and assist with light housekeeping duties. Assist the client with mobility and transfers when necessary. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of client. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisor.

Requirements

Previous experience providing care with Clients who have dementia. Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanour are essential. Must be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent training is required along with a Police Check. Available Mon , Wed and Fri from 9:00-2:30 pm
