Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and hospice care environments. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for those you assist. The ideal candidate will have a passion for caregiving and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with special needs.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients. Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient living areas. Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility. Support individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments through tailored care approaches. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Experience

Previous experience in caregiving or patient care is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with hospice care, senior care, or assisted living environments is an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. A genuine desire to help others and make a positive impact on their lives. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties, including lifting and moving patients as needed.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
