$20/hr (Private Contract)

Schedule:

Saturdays & Sundays:

8:00am-11:45am

and

8:00pm-9:00pm (Split Shift - Mornings and Evenings)*

IMPORTANT:

You must be able to travel back and forth to commit to this schedule.

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable

Health Care Aide

to join our private homecare team. You will be supporting a

male client

who communicates in both

German and English

.

The client walks with a

walker

and is considered a

fall risk

, so attentiveness and safety awareness are essential. This role focuses on providing personal care, mobility support, and assistance with daily routines and

rehabilitation exercises

.

Responsibilities

Assist the client with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Provide close supervision and assistance to ensure

fall prevention and safe ambulation

. Support and encourage

daily rehab exercises and supervised walks

. Maintain a clean and safe environment (light housekeeping and laundry). Offer companionship and emotional support to promote well-being. Report any changes in the client's condition or concerns to the care coordinator promptly.

Experience & Qualifications

Previous experience in

home care, assisted living, or senior care

preferred. Knowledge or experience with

mobility assistance and fall prevention

is an asset. Must be reliable, compassionate, and professional. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. HCA Certificate Criminal record & vulnerable sector check Speak clear fluent English
