Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients, assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of care.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing. Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times. Monitor and record vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.. Follow care plans established by healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

Completion of a Health Care Aide training program or equivalent experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic understanding of medical terminology is an asset. Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting or moving patients.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Morning shift On call Weekends as needed
