Health Care Aide

Health Care Aide

role to join our growing organization. They will support a range of day-to-day operational activities.

Responsibilities:

Hold a complete knowledge base of procedures being offered at Beam (training provided).

Deliver post care instruction to patients.

Administer first aid and medication as directed by healthcare professionals.

Accompany and help safely transfer patients.

Aid with documentation in patient chart.

Assist nursing team in monitoring pre and post procedure vitals.

Maintain a clean and safe environment.

Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving preferred.

Knowledge of privacy regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with patients.

Shifts:

Regular business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (hours may vary minimally from time to time). Must have the ability to travel within Calgary to all Beam locations.
