Our outstanding Health Care Aide is always responsive, highly organized and compassionate. This position requires excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills to work with residents and their families in a variety of settings. Our Health Care Aide also responds to family members and/or significant others by creating a calming environment and providing reassurance that the resident is in good hands, while providing accurate information about their condition and care options for them. Responsibilities:
  • Perform various administrative duties, such as answering phones and maintaining files.
  • Manage resident records.
  • Perform basic medical tasks, such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations by a doctor.
  • Prepare instruments for examination of patient.
  • Prepare operating tools for use by doctors.
  • Prepare operating room and patient for surgery.
  • Take instructions from doctors and nurses and perform basic cleaning tasks.
  • Sort and file medical records.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week Salary: $21.00-$22.00 per hour Benefits:

  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
