About the Role
One of our valued clients in Airdrie is currently seeking a dedicated Health Care Aide to support residents in a care facility/community setting. The ideal candidate will assist with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities, while promoting a safe and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming Support mobility, transfers, and physical assistance as needed Observe and report changes in residents' health to supervising staff Follow care plans and ensure accurate documentation Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality Help with light housekeeping and meal-related tasks Encourage participation in social and cultural activities Attend meetings and training sessions as required
Qualifications
Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program in Alberta Active registration with the Alberta HCA Directory CPR and First Aid certification Previous experience in a community or long-term care setting is preferred Clear Vulnerable Sector Check and up-to-date immunization (if applicable)
