Duties and Responsibilities:

Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and standards

Effectively maintain the companys health and safety program

Ensure the COR program process is completed annually

Review the safety manual and conduct risk assessments annually

Inspect all job sites

Ensure regulations, safe work practices, and procedures are followed

Identify and control risks

Maintain health and safety records and reports

Conduct investigations

Collaborate with WorkSafeNB inspector

Ensure the storekeeper updates Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

Prepare annual statistics

Identify and provide mandatory training

Plan and attend monthly joint committee meetings

Perform other related tasks as required

Requirements:

High school diploma and college training in health and safety or management

COR certification

Minimum of 1 year of experience

Effective bilingual communication (French and English), both oral and written

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Autonomous, detail-oriented, and proactive

Valid drivers license

Compensation and Benefits:

Weekly salary based on 45 to 55 hours of work

Full-time, year-round employment

Salary between $25 and $28 depending on experience and qualifications
