Job Summary



SAFRAN CABIN CANADA is looking for a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Coordinator. This role mainly consists of maintaining and improving the HSE management system and raising awareness of the importance of a prevention culture among the company's various actors. Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, Health, Safety and Environment, the HSE Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring HSE compliance of the premises and practices, and leading prevention projects where appropriate.

Summary of Duties



Assess compliance with regulatory, corporate and other requirements

Perform risk analyses, including physical, ergonomic and chemical risks

Develop and translate HSE procedures and programs

Produce reports and make recommendations to the Management team

Conduct departmental inspections

Maintain ISO 14001, 45001 or equivalent certificates through audits

Update and present HSE statistics reports

Identify training needs and develop training programs

Conduct awareness and training sessions

Manage emergency response plan

Ensure the smooth running of the incident and accident program

Keep IT tools up to date, including safety data sheet system

Qualifications



Education:

University degree in health and safety

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in health, safety and the environment

Computer Skills:

Good knowledge of MS Office suite

Good knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (RSST, LSST, LATMP, etc.)

Other Skills



Fluency in both French and English is essential, as the role requires frequent interactions with stakeholders outside the province and internationally

Thoroughness and attention to detail

Good adaptability
