As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Health & Safety Administrator to play a key role in supporting and strengthening our safety culture across projects and teams. What You'll Do
Support the implementation and enforcement of health and safety policies in compliance with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act, applicable provincial regulations, and recognized industry standards
Assist with WSIB Claims Management
Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety evaluations; assist with incident investigations and follow-up
Coordinate and maintain safety training, orientation sessions, and certification records (SiteDocs, Excel, OneDrive)
Assist in delivering new hire orientations and in-house training (e.g., WHMIS, fall protection)
Maintain digital and physical safety documentation, including site-specific plans and reports
Track subcontractor compliance and ensure up-to-date certifications and records and invoices
Monitor and document fleet safety, equipment inspections, and maintenance schedules
Manage PPE inventory and emergency equipment checks (fire extinguishers, eyewash, first aid kits)
Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings and ensure follow-up actions
Support COR certification efforts and third-party safety program maintenance
Perform general administrative duties to support the H&S team
Serve as the designated administrator for the Skills Development Fund (SDF) Program, ensuring accurate training tracking and program compliance
What You Bring to the Team
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Health & Safety or administrative safety-related role in construction
Educational background in Occupational Health & Safety, business administration, or a related field
Strong administrative skills with experience supporting compliance and documentation processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems
Experience with SiteDocs or similar safety management software is an asset
Solid understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and related Ontario regulations
Familiarity with the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program and its requirements
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-first mindset
Valid Ontario driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
