As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly, from managing staff to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
Lead, train, and manage a team of staff members, fostering a positive work environment.
Oversee food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Manage inventory and supplies, including cash handling and ordering of food products.
Conduct interviews and hire new staff as needed to maintain optimal staffing levels.
Develop and implement training programs for new employees on food handling and service standards.
Monitor customer feedback and address any issues or concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of menu items and adherence to recipes.
Prepare reports on restaurant performance, including sales trends and employee productivity.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Experience in cash handling procedures and financial management within a restaurant setting.
Ability to conduct interviews effectively and assess potential candidates for various roles.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and customers effectively.
A background in cooking or culinary arts is preferred but not mandatory.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
